WOW, that tasted GOOD, mama!
Poi,(now),let’s start with pizza…mama and papa finally discovered that a place they used to eat pizza near their apartment has come back from being sold and has the best pizza ever, because when it was sold the food took a dive. And they don’t have to walk far to have it on a typical Sunday pizza night.
AND the restaurant has artichokes, both little fried pieces and whole ones, steamed with garlic and mint, called carchiofi alla romana!
Mama is in heaven.
The sun is out and also the moon, as you will see. Here is the Pantheon again because they love the Pantheon and there are many fewer tourists, yay! And our favorite mime passed by too quickly for mama to get a good photo. He was busy immitating passers-by in the piazza.
He follows along behind a couple or a nun or a priest or tourists and acts out the way they are talking, walking or gesturing and he’s hilarious. Because he knows us he swept people aside so that we could walk though easily, very thoughtful but mama loves it when he makes fun of us (well, not me, but…).
