Mama, I see those intruders down there! Wish I were there to help…uh…disperse them!

Donc, we are not so crazy over this puzzlement, just frustrated for mama with all the pigeons who have decided that she has opened a Bird Bar and Bistro for them!
Our little sparrows and other local wild birdies were happy each morning to have a peaceful little breakfast under the lemon tree where their feeder hangs, but suddenly three or four or five pigeons have arrived to peck at the seeds that drop from their breakfast!!!
Any ideas of how to keep them out? Mama loves our two billers and cooers, Levi and Brownie, a couple of pigeons that have been with us for weeks but now it’s a free-for-all and we think maybe we have to stop feeding our birdies for a week or so and send a message to the intruders! Do you think that will work?

I know when we had problems with squirrels eating all the bird food, we learned what seeds squirrels wouldn’t eat and filled our feeders with that. And it worked. But we don’t think there’s anything pigeons won’t eat. We wish we had some better advice.
MERCI and yes, I think that pigeons eat anything, anytime, anywhere but I thank you for your advice and will try it.

Oh well…even other birds have to eat too…even pigeons.
Mama will probably have to close down the buffet for a week to get them to leave…a shame, because when she opens it again they will come back again. And you will miss the birds you want . It is a real Hobson’s Choice !
Oh, mince. Good advice, she did close down for two days and no piggies but yes, they came back immediately after she started up the resto.
I hope some of the bird watchers have some pigeon advice for you!
