For some reason, mama really loved this observation. She feels that so much of the time, chances aren’t taken, new roads aren’t traveled, challenges look tougher than they really are and if you just go for it without really having figured out eveything ahea of time, whatever it is will be much mor FUN!
We hope your week is full of surprises and new horizons and heel and toe lifts when you’re sitting to lower your cortisol (50 times but it beats running a mile!) and fun recipes and successful teeth-cleanings for your kitties and a wonderful action mama read in a novel, in which the main character’s father taught his children to give two thingss away, every day, and so they did. Sometimes it was to a street musician or busker or something old given to the Salvation Army, but mama loves that idea. Even if you give away a piece of bread to a pigeon or a smile to a child…she just is having fun with it.
I’m going to let my friends up here use my cloud sometimes, and I’m doing a dance for areas with drought so I can give them rain…we’ll see how this goes.
Maybe a good thought would be “give and let live.”..

I loved yesterday’s goose fire alarm report!
Where I work, sometimes things can seem rather overwhelming,. and some of the workers then begin to grumble and worry about how to get everything done…and they sure do waste a lot of time…just get to it, and soon you will find yourself so immersed in what needs doing, you will be happy to see that you did after all get it all done! Yup, me too…
The other day at the store a saw a man who was in a mobility scooter, struggle to decide what nee wanted,and didn’t know where to look. So I went over and helped him, which led to a 20 min or so conversation about all kinds of things. I think that man was a bit lonely,even with his little sweet service chihuahua. (Likely an emotional support dog…for him a veteran) So I gave up some of my own time, and was late getting home, but who cares!

Dr. M.L. King said something similar, about not having to see the whole staircase to take the first step in faith. If we knew ahead everything which would happen, I think we’d be bored out of our gourds.
Each day you can give away plenty of smiles and good wishes and good cheer to everyone, I think it certainly beats grousing and complaining.
Thanks for the tip about heel/toe lifts, I’ll try to remember.
They actually work…it has been a Chinese exercise for years and years. Just up and back, up and back whenever you are sitting or standing and doing something else. According to experts, it’s as good as the 10-minute walk immediately after meals.
A thought sort of like “Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good.” People tend to think they need to wait til things are just a bit better – when they should act right then !
HEAR HEAR…but mama jumps right in almost all the time, when sometimes it might be better to case the joint, haha.
