MAMA — you forgot three days???? Oh, boy….
Well, the weeds in our garden have kept mama out of the computer business plus she had a deadline for an article plus she had a book delivery thingy in another little village but now we are BACK.
Let’s say that Monday’s spark is that if, for too many reasons to count, you do not succeed (to do your blogs for example) TRY TRY AGAIN.
And here we are minus Sat Cat and Sunday Selfie and just moving ahead with this Sat Sun Mon and hope we can keep on keepin’ on from here, haha.
Mama also was making a curry and the bread for it called Naan and that took some time, too. We’ll talk about that on her Substack because the house smells wonderful and the bread turned out really well.
Thanks for your patience….

Naan for curryFYI

Sometimes life just gets in the way of us having fun. The Lady loves naan. That looks so good.
Easy peasey.. Flour, salt, pinch of sugar, a teaspoon of dry yeast, a bit of yogurt and/or milk for the liquid, a bit of melted butter or olive oil…Make a dough that doesn’t stick to your hands. Let rise. Push down and forn into small balls, flatten with a rolling pin very thin. Heat a skillet with a bit of olive oil and bake the naan until golden and a bit black on one side and do the same with the other. A hot skillet makes the naan bubble. This is good.
Go easy on your mama, Loulou. She is an industrious lady and has lots to do. Welcome back.
Oui, oui, but to forget THREE TIMES THIS MONTH….oh, boy. I’ll have to do some subtle nudges from my cloud queendom….
The naan looks good. XO
They were really good and easy to make in a skillet.
Mama certainly has been busy, busy, busy!

Õh, boy, and today she is decanting her vinegar…Wish we could send it to all…there are too many bottles!
Curry with naan is a delightful meal and seeing you is a treat.
Merci, Ms Messymimi…we have another complete dinner too! Hard to make curry for two!
LouLou, Summer is always a busy time for gardeners and fresh-foodies. We are just glad to know you and Mama and Papa are ok.
We are okay but HOT HOT HOT.
That naan bread would have done well with the curry rice dish our son brought to our church potluck, yesterday. The curry aroma was quite prominent! Everyone who tried it loved it.
I brought along a coconut coleslaw, (semi-spicy), and a big watermelon.
Now calm down and don’t worry about missing blog postings…we are here whenever you are, and we know everyone has a life beyond blogging. 🥰
Merci for your observation and thank you, too, for the idea of a spicey coleslaw…would he share the recipe???
