WOW, mama used two kilos of clams for her pasta sauce! I’m still waiting for her to drop on on the floor…
Well, Sunday was fun, fun, fun. The grandkids got into politics, music, food, you name it, and how Dave Brubeck’s ‘Take Five’ changed music forever (you can see it on You Tube–the beat is amazing and the sax, OMC!)
See you Monday…mama is recovering and doing all she didn’t do today because of having the dinner for seven of clam sauce and Indian fritters called vaday. You can see the recipe on her Substack, Crazy in the Kitchen.

I watched the whole shebang with great pleasure….wonderful step kid and her kids and their partners! A very loving family….In this world, that counts for alot!

Sounds like a really fun time with good food and family!
It was really special, very special, now that they are all grown up and so, so interesting.
Oh my word those clams look amazing, Loulou! It reminds me of the fabulous clams we ate in Vietnam – so delicious.
Ah…so many French go to Vietnam, because of the language, I think, but I know the food is extraordinary.
It sounds quite a day and what a large meal!
So pleased you all had a wonderful time. Good food, wine and company of your family.
Have a blessed week

Oh, boy, this crowd makes your mind work, mama says…merci for the happy wishes.
So many clams! I’m glad they had a good time.
The clams had a really good time, merci!!!!
Glad she had quality time with family. XO
Invigorating, mama say. She could use a mental rest…
Wow, that was a huge dinner endeavor…and devoured with pleasure, no doubt! (Well, except for the vegans, there, teehee!)
Oh, the vegans got a zucchine sauce that was really tasty and lemony except mama had to steal some pasta out from under the clams to have seconds for the vegans….nobody noticed…
Your secret is mine, too. LOL!
HAHA, nobody saw her do it and the clams hadn’t REALLY touched much straight pasta yet…maybe.
The foods sure look good and hooray for a wonderful family time!

It was lovely. Ending tonight as the vegan cooks! Ought to be interesting.
It sounds like a great Sunday!
It was lovely and lively, for sure.
And how wonderful that such a “blended” family has blended so well. We wish we could have shared in the clam-aciious bounty !
Mama wishes that, too, Ms Mary. It was dee-licious.
All we can say is YUM!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Yum is enough said!
