Bonjour, and mundane in this case simply means ordinary, dull, run-of-the-mill Monday. Workers in the house (it’s 17 years old after all…things get a little peaked)…grocery shopping, pulling weeds, pretty mundane stuff.
But this is not:
“A visionary left at this moment is better suited than routed establishment Democrats to catalyze an uprising against Trump and Trumpism – engaging the protest voters’ pain and fear rather than pathologizing them, as many did (to disastrous effect) during the election.
“Together we can propose plans for a democracy and economy that work for the vast majority of people living in them, calling out the system as rigged, showing the ways men like Trump rigged it and charting a tangible way forward.”
Kate Aronoff, journalist for The Guardian
Keep the faith, help our democracy to be up and running again. VOTE!!!!
And make poached eggs to lift your spirits.

or plant nasturtiums and eat the flowers!

Mundane is okay…it’s better than chaos.
How true, how true and we have all had enough of chaos!!
Those eggs look yummy, Loulou! And I love that sweet selfie of you.
Awww…merci, Ms Militza….
We remain hopeful…..for the country most of all then secondarily for ourselves – we remain unable to post on our blog BUT “hope is eternal” and the computer will be going for some updates this week. Meanwhile everyone try to find your “happy” if you can.
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Well, our happy is when YOU TWO ARE HAPPY and yes, we will try to be and think positively each morning as we avoid the news, haha. I must say mama’s tomatoes are making her very happy, not to mention the roses, which are lovely this year and smell devine. So sorry for your internet troubles but mama nd papa had them in Rome!!!
It’s not easy keeping up a house, or a country.
HOW TRUE!
I have every kind of egg except poached. 🙂 XO
Oh, but they are SOOOO good. You can make them in a microwave: fill a small bowl halfway with water. Break in an egg. Set the microwave for 50 seconds and voila! Drain the poached egg with a hole-y spoon.
‘STURTIUMS !
Or “Nasties” as mama’s friend used to call them lovingly. She had them everywhere as does mama.
We’re sure ready to vote here, and we will, even though it doesn’t do much good in the South, but we’re hopeful.
Brian’s Home ~ Forever
Well, Virginia just tripped up the Democrats…so sad. Along with Texas, as they are trying hard to mess up voting. Mama’s home state, but she’s not proud of it.
