On a lighter note, these are the roses mama cut yesterday when we returned.
A our Rampicante squash are taking off! These are mature ones from last time, but our new babies are getting there!

Bonjour or buongiorno—mama and papa are back and reeling (whatever that is) with chores to do when they have been away for a few weeks and need to get things back to the present. Our dear friend house sat, if you can say that, and it was in better shape that when they left!!! Fortunately, she lives down the street so they can thank her and her brother, who is visiting, with clam sauce on Sunday!
Now, here’s the thing. Mama would LOVE to see and read and comment on the last couple of days’ blogs from each and every one who make our days so pleasant and fun, but mama is going to have to start today and go forward from here, so if you did not get a comment over the last couple of days, it’s because we were ALL a bit overwhelmed and just have to start anew…right now mama is doing laundry, haha…

Mama had a hundred and something gmails when she opened her computer after three days, and after having waded through all the ads, etc., she finally saw this, which is entered below, and felt it affects ALL of us and so it’s here to see. Tomorrow’s Wordless theme will, we are sure, be welcome….
