Well, once again, the singles women skaters took up the evening and you can guess the rest.
Amazing, thrilling skaters and so incredibly strong and able, such a joy to watch!

Oh, Loulou, mama said, I’m so sorry, my bad, but I just LOVE skating and it’s only once every now and then and I just put aside my daily duties but I promise to be better after these Olympics are over!
Okay, mama, okay, maybe I’ll just stretch out on my cloud and watch the last of this winter event…I skated once when I was small and chasing that black kitty out of MY garden and he jumped the fence and I skated to a halt at the bottom of it! Remember that? He didn’t know what he might have had to go through if he’d try to skulk around MY garden, did he? Is skating to a halt competitive? If so, I got a medal. And I forgive you mama, at least we got this blog off the ground, haha.

Haha, I slip and slide up here all the time but mostly it’s for fun…
The Lady watched the skating and said it was disappointing the US ladies didn’t do better.
That’s true and they were GOOD, but the Japanese were awfully good, too. Especially No 1! So beautiful but our American skaters were wonderful.
We watched the skiing events where the guys do flips and fly and twist around and just plain WOW. It was snowing a lot too. Mom says I’m too big to ski or skate so I’ll just NAP – I could have a gold medal in THAT!

We watched that too and the night before last it was all women and they ski BACKWARDS DOWN THE SLOPE. Isn’t that amazing? And then land BACKWARDS!!
Sometimes one needs a break to watch something special, Loulou. Skating is surely that.
We loved the skating and there will be more….mama thinks.
Sometimes things come up and when the Olympics comes up, it’s worth taking a pause/paws.
