I LOVE SUMMERTIME…but my cloud has warmed up after a day of cool…YAY YAY! Mama did the fills this time:
1. My to-do list for September includes __seeing our family again, straightening up the garden and MISSING SUMMER.
2. Twelvth__grade was my favorite year of school with a wonderful inspiring English teacher who said GO WRITE!
3. I have a lot of respect for __Mothers, because __they are usually the backbone of a family, even if they work. Their job is tough and endless (and papas are good, too but the women MAKE the babies).
4. What other people think of me is none of my business__ made me stop __worrying about it!!
Below, Pomodori al riso, summer tomatoes hollowed out and stuffed with the tomato pulp and risotto rice and held in place as they bake with potato cubes.
Recipe tomorrow….

Pomodori al riso

Sounds like you took that English teacher’s advice to heart!
Oh, yes, mama has written ever since the command. He was a marvelous teacher and his wife was the creator of crossword puzzles for the NY Times….
Great fill in answers!
What would we ever do without mothers??
That looks yummy!!
How would we ever BE witihout mamas, haha.
Thoughtful ill-ins, but those tomatoes are even more “food for thought !”
They are easy and so good with the the ripe tomatoes of August.
YUMMMMMMMMMMM! Love garden tomatoes so much vs. store bought. Good job filling in those blanks too…………
Hugs, Pam
Merci, Ms P, and yes, these are easy, low-calorie and so, so good. Recipe today.
Thank you to your mama for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am glad your folks will get to spend more time with family. And I can’t wait for the recipe. XO
Coming soon to a blog near you….LOVE the fill-ins and thank YOU for thinking them up!
It’s true, we can’t control what others think of us, just what we choose to do. Happy Friday!
Merci, Ms Messymimi, yes we have to mind our own gardens.
