For a blooming hibiscus that always fools us as it lies asleep in winter.

For a second rose-bloom because of this heat.

For a cool breeze today from the sea.

For the upcoming Women’s March tomorrow.

For all the judges who are standing strong in their refusals to go along with T’s illegal and unconstitutional actions toward immigration. Yes, it needs controlling, but not when families are separated, kids at school don’t know if their parents will be at home when they return, and a young Iranian woman is thrown to the ground by three ICE men and man-handled as her sister videos the attack! It’s on Instagram. It creates terror, which is what T is hoping for. Rule and control by terror. And  this, with tomorrow a day of Independence.

Outrageous.
