Courage

That bad storm is GONE!

The victims of Helene are many, and our hearts go out to their families and to those who have lost homes and more.

So much courage is needed to combat these terrible natural events, their devastation and loss of lives.

Mama found this website about helping, if possible, after this terrible hurricane.

And the only spark for today, after this unprecedented storm, is that hope is the foundation for building some kind of normality again after a devastation of lives and property.

It is not easy to hope after terrible disasters.

But hope is a powerful tool when rebuilding one’s trust in a brighter future and knowing that this, too, shall pass.

Words don’t help much, do they…?

Words don’t do much, but I donate to a place which is on the ground now with care packs for families. They go find out how many people in the family and what they need — whether diapers, or ladies’ items, or whatever, and build a care pack just for that family.

We’ve had such storms here, in the swamps of south Louisiana, and it’s never easy, but we have to keep hoping or we couldn’t keep going.

The photos of the devastation are unbelievable. We send purrayers to all the people and animals effected.

So many need so much help. Our neighborhood is a wreck but we all consider ourselves very lucky.

Such a devastating storm and so many were impacted by it. I wish I had a magic wand to make it all better again, but I don’t. Thanks for the link to help out, that is at least something positive to do.

Loulou, words do help when they are caring as yours are. It is horrible tragedy from Helene. We pray and send purrs to the animals also involved.
