We’re keeping cool inside – Mom wishes I didn’t want to go outside as much as I do but I love a good “yard nap” as well as an “inside the house nap”. I have to admit, having Mom or Dad or both of them with me when I’m outside allows me to feel safe and secure enough outside to really enjoy napping under my favorite miniature red maple tree to the FULLEST !! You look very comfy in your photo Loulou.
We have a heat transfer system that is very successful and works magic. Takes hot air from outside and sends cool air inside and in winter takes cold air from outside and makes it warm for inside but we were able to duct the cool or heated air because we built the house. Otherwise now there are ways to cool several rooms with one unit outside by running tubes to each room from the outside unit.
Oh, a heat pump…we have one, works well, but in extremes it resorts to the natural gas or electricity to do its work. There are other more sophisticated heat pumps…but the budget here said lets go with this one, LOL!!
Under the vent is the purrfect spot on a hot day.

Oh, a minature maple to nap under…how lovely.
Sleep and conserve your energy until it’s cooler, Loulou. I see that the temperatures there are crazy hot.
I am in energy conservation mode most of my life…
Keep cool sweet Loulou!!!
I’m cool, man, I’m cool.
I know how you feel. 🙂 XO
No sweat, right? Haha.
The vent or you, Loulou…staying in place!
Haha I just felt like venting a bit, haha.
We are in front of the fans and the open windows LouLou ! Stay cool !
Oui, we are all trying to keep our cool but so many do not have even fans….
Keep on chillin’ LouLou!
I am chillin’, that’s for sure, but today the temp dropped several degrees. Go figure.

Yep, coolin’off anywhere I can.
Stay cool LouLou, you and your peeps and all your friends as well. That heatwave is brutal.
I am glad you DO have AC, as many don’t have it…my European relatives sure don’t…unless they got it since I was last there…eons ago! (2008)
