Today in Italy is the day that Italy gave up the rule of king and became a republic. HUGE parades and nine jets flying over the city leaving the Frecce Tricolori….the red, green and white colors of the flag. The planes are “arrows”….so exciting. Also LOUD! I was there once and hid under the bed….

Poor Loulou…..I know you are missing your Mama and Papa even though you are being well looked after – it’s just not the same is it! That first photo is most interesting and the second is very sweet. Soon that second one will be a reality when Mama and Papa come home!!! Good job filling in the blanks by yourself though.
