Yesterdays

Well, one day ago it was Random Acts of Poetry Day and a friend sent this to us:

The morns are meeker than they were,
The nuts are getting brown;
The berry’s cheek is plumper,
The rose is out of town.

The maple wears a gayer scarf,
The field a scarlet gown.
Lest I should be old-fashioned,
I’ll put a trinket on.

A sweet autumn poem, no?

I have to go find a trinket….

Love the poem…….it is a reminder that seasons change but there’s sweetness in every changing leaf and every cool morning. Beauty is all around us.

Hugs, Pam (and Teddy too!)
