Well, I was just holding hands with papa because he was feeling bad about me not eating properly and I didn’t want him to worry.
I need to eat more right now so we’ll see if this little 4-day pill THEY are attempting to camouflage in my food (haha, bonne chance) will give me a bit more appetite.
Oh, you say I took it, mama? I thought that was just a little chopped chicken that you were giving me as a treat. Argggh.
Foiled again! Well, 1 pill left, mama says, and we’ll see just who is fooling whom around here…whom? who? whatever.

Diabetes is the reason and my WONDERFUL vet is doing some test to get the insulin level correct. That changes appetite, too.

Yes, well, he soothes me quite often. Mama has boiled chicken in only water and it’s delicious, she says, and I loved it at first but now do not eat much of anything without a tiny bit of duck fat on it. Now mama is trying ground up freeze-dried chicken or fish on my other food and that’s pretty tasty.
Yes, you do need to eat better Loulou, it’s mighty important.
I know, Mr Brian, but I’m just not hungry unless the smidgeon of duck fat is on the food. I have not lost weight over the last two days however and that’s good.

Mama is sprinkling ground up freez-dried chicken on my food and I seem to like that a lot! Also when she grinds up a whole thigh and leg for me, I am eating quite a bit of that but it only seems to be a small quantity but when ground up, it’s more than we think.
