Oh, Loulou that was too beautiful. And your mama’s portrait of you is gorgeous too. Your mama is not the only one who has a case of the cries lately. Seems it’s affecting us all. I also believe it to be unconscious stress.
Well, Miliza, we think it is that for sure. And things that are so beautiful like that sweet boy’s voice simply overwhelm us.

SWIM? SWIM? IN THIS WEATHER? Yes, we remember the tradition, and there is one in the UK on New Year’s or somewhere in Ireland. Have to look that up but we shiver just watching them.

Dad and I love the simplicity of this drawing. Excellent! Oh, and I gotta say- dad watched that clip and actually got choked up on that performance. he does that with musical things he finds quite intense.
So does mama. But lately she cried over anything beautiful or sad. Unconscious stress over you know what, I think. But good to let it out, I always say! Go, dad.
My Mom loves that song too and that little boy ROCKED IT and got a puppy as a reward…..life is good…..and that boy is a STAR. We also love your Mom’s sketch of yOU giving her “love eyes” (as my Mom calls it when I do that with her).
