Well, I know, I know, I posted this last year (and probably the year before) but I just love to see it each Thanksgiving…a little lighthearted humor along with the mashed potatoes, haha.

Kidding aside, we are so, so thankful that we have a roof over our heads, kibble to eat, friends like you and what is shaping up to be the America we have been longing for for way too long.
Have a lovely thankful day, wherever you are, and remember that next Thanksgiving you may be with loved ones to hug!
I was happy to learn that cats can actually enjoy a bit of pumpkin or sweet potatoes with us…didn’t try the on the bird though 🙂
Oh, wonderful, I’ll get mama to remember that when the next pie comes around. She tends to make salty things out of pumpkin, like roasted veggies with pumpkin.

Well, overdosing on mashed potatoes was pretty weird, haha. Just kidding, I only got a tiny bite. But papa says all he wants today is bread and water, haha. Guess he’ll just have to pass up the tomato tarte….
Ooooh – makes Mamma want to be a vegetarian!!! Or just eat shellfish (I don’t think they are aware). Maybe. Well, we had duck – not turkey. But ducks have feelings too!!! Mamma is totally conflicted!!!
Don’t feel alone. But if all animals were raised humanely and killed humanely, it would be a different world. I think it’s fine to be anything one wishes, but cats are carnivores, starving children need amino acids, and on and on and on….mama is like you, no veal or rabbit or lamb, babies, but still has bio raised meat on rare occasions.
