I started wiping off my cellphone, too.

Well, once  again, Jan’s thoughtful brother sent information about COVID-19 and your smartphones.  We didn’t even think of it,  but then again, we don’t see ANYONE up close and personal.  And if mama and papa go for a short  walk, they walk REALLY  FAR AWAY from anyone they see.

Just this morning mama heard a man cough on the street where she and papa were walking, and he was very far ahead of them and wearing a mask,  but she and papa veered off in the opposite direction.  But Mr Doug sent this:

Perhaps your bloggers are aware of the importance of cleaning their smartphone:checked out an article about why you should clean your smartphone daily. seems that with the spread of the novel coronavirus, they’re a potential vector for infection. The virus can potentially live on your phone’s screen for days. up to 96 hours.

We quarantine all deliveries for 3 days, except for fresh produce and frozen items. Produce and frozen packages are washed with soap and water and rinsed well and the frozen things are put in the freezer.

And paws together for Terry and family…

Dad is a nurse and says not to sweat unless you are with someone who is positive. The stress can be as bad, or worse, as the risk

The mom has been disinfecting stuff, but she’s also done a lot of reading of interviews with a number of infectious disease doctors who say it’s not really necessary to quarantine groceries and you should never wash produce with regular soap and water.

You’re right, Loulou, our phones are real germ collectors. Very important to keep them clean. Glad that Cat Daddy has come home, and everything checked out.

Prayers and Best Wishes for Daddy Terry. We pets are family and this is a hard time for all. I do get lots of walks though – especially in the morning – practically no one is out and hardly any cars! Rare times in Nice.

I’ve started putting my phone in a baggie when i go out. It still works thru the plastic and when i get home i wash the outside of the bag first with soap and water then with a disinfectant that kills bacteria and viruses. I wasn’t sure if those products would eventually hurt my phone so i feel better using it on the baggie instead!

The Mom and Dad use a device called Phone Soap and it cleans the phones with UV light. Hey, the Dad is home from the hospital, his heart checked out purrfectly so he is seeing his regular doctor tomorrow. He said thanks for the kind words and well wishes.
