Well, I have to thank Ernie (from Island Cats) today for giving me a subject for my blog since mama didn’t seem to be able to COME UP WITH ONE!
Okay, okay, she was getting ready for papa’s birthday but hey, which comes first, I ask you? And I’m isolated here in the RAIN and can’t commune with Nature to get ideas!
So, papa, I’m dedicating this blog to YOU who taught us ALL that sleep is one of the best things that anyone can do for health and sanity and one should do it well!
So sleepy-time Ernie likes to droop when snoozing, and he asked if maybe other kitties slept in funny ways. Oh, boy, oh, yeah, mama thinks my sleeping positions are just about side-splitting, but to me it’s natural and comfortable. So what’re those giggles about, huh?
I mean, this is normal, right? Hey, I think when I sleep.
Isn’t this normal? Feet straight up in air?
Or this? Hey, good for circulation, no?
Or, hey, my favorite, laughing in my sleep!
So you see, drooping is the new normal! Go for it, Ernie.

Oh, Loulou – sometimes I sleep in weird positions – and I’m a doggie! But yours have me beat for sure!! I sleep with my toy pets in my little bed that used to be Pepper’s. Or on the sofa or on the bed. BUT we want to hear ALL about your Papa’s celebration – I know your mama will make something really special – and we’ll give him a Birthday Call since we can’t be there in person!!!!
