Spaced out on my beloved patio, waiting for the grill to heat…

Well, there’s another little plus for being in my own back yard, which is the warm weather we now have and, yup, barbecue time!  Even if the little steak that mama thawed out when we got in last night so we’d have something to eat today was tough as nails and almost tasteless, to me, a little carnivore kitty, it passed muster, whatever that is.

BUT…I had already eaten when they tossed some corn on the cob, sweet onions and slices of bread on the grill and I think they did that on purpose just to titillate my taste buds.

Hey, didn’t fool me.  I came running when that meat started cooking.

The only problem was that mama really didn’t want to chew all night long and so she chopped up her piece of steak in our little instant cutter-upper and made hamburger!  Guess who’s going to get that tomorrow, tossed with a bit of olive oil?

Heh, heh, one guess.

And mama, not a big meat eater, was happy with her artichokes, corn and bruschetta rubbed with garlic.

Hey, mama, maybe it’s time to face facts: meat is for KITTIES, not mamas.

I think that little nip hit gave me an appetite!

Where’s the beef, mama?
