Go Figure + Chapter Two

Well, both of my blogs, the stand-in and the original were published within three hours of one another!

But WHERE did the one go that I lost and how did it come back and publish itself?

No matter.

To continue on my saga:

I’m gathering all the thoughts I had upon finding myself in a strange garden with food set out for me every day for several days, and one thing I thought was, “Play along with this,” whatever my name was then!  Yes, I played along with the Ruse of the Kibble Dish – that weird feathered anthro moving that dish each day closer and closer to their (soon to become my) kitchen door.

Hey, you have to humor anthros almost all the time, so I got in some good practice.

And then, when I least expected it, and after I had actually ENTERED what was going to be my kitchen, and that feathered creature had actually, subtly SHUT ME IN, I said to myself, “Just be cool, and give them the good news”!

“Surprise, surprise,” I meowed loudly.  You just acquired a new member of the family.”

Upon hearing that, mama looked sort of nervous but she didn’t try to pick me up or do anything that would scare me, she just put down on the floor a dish of some really good chicken with gravy and left me to wander wherever I wished.

So I did.  Hey, it was warm in there, and I’d been in the WILD for days!

If you can call a little French village by the sea the wild, haha. Still…

And if our mailman doesn’t stuff our mailbox with a gazillion advertisements for psychics, hernia braces and non-gluten bakery goods, I will tell you how all of this inspired me to start writing my memoires..

Maybe.

Unless I’m sacked out and dreaming about that fortuitous day…

…whatever that means.

LouLou that is one fine story and the chick-hen with gravy really is the best ending there could be for a lost kitty

Loulou, you really lucked out with that ploy!! Hehheh – and they thought it was their idea. I bribed « Lurch » to drag me to the car so mama’s heart would melt – papa’s was already by my photo. Oh the things we have to do. Internet not working this morning but back from Gimignano (FABULOUS!!!) and no it works. They wouldn’t let me in to the torture museum, but they did let me in to a church. Whew. My peeps need wine…..

I am loving your story, Loulou. How lucky to have happened upon a garden with two adoring anthros.
