Baffled and beat!
Dear Tech Smarties,
Once again, I am TRYING to get mama to help me get photos from my IPhone into this blog! I have looked on Google and found so much confusion that this kitty simply cannot process the info easily.
Mama is NO help at all. Okay, okay maybe she takes some pretty nice pics of me (when I am not there to protest, as in SLEEPING) but then she wants me to put them on my blog and I do not have a kitty’s clue how to get them into this WordPress app.
SO WEIRD. You’d think that in 2019 one could simply take a pic, tell it where to go and it would GO there, right? Oh, computer wizards, where are you?
We use Adobe and from that we can upload our pics easily and place them here, but really, it would be so simple to have communication between and IPhone and a Mac Book, NO?

Mommy has an iPhone and an iPad she takes pictures with. Just email the photos to your email (instead of texting them to a phone number, enter your email address instead of a phone number). When you receive the emailed photo (and you might have to check your spam or junk folder as your computer may not recognize where it’s coming from). But it should show up in your email somewhere. Then just save the photo to your computer. Voila! Now you can upload from your photos to your blog.
I run my blog from my iPad so I just hold my finger down on the photo then select save photo. On your computer you may need to click the mouse over the photo, then select “save as” to choose what folder in your computer you want to save to and you can also name it such as “Loulou with paw in mouth sleeping”. 🤣😉

Oh, Patzy, that is a GRAND idea. I think what is scre…er…messing me up is my Adobe program. I have to download photos into Adobe from my Sony camera and I can ALSO get them from my IPhone in Adobe. But I thought there might be an easier way to get pics faster. In Adobe my photos are indeed named–as in Sleeping Funny, Smiling, Garden, Bathing, etc…mama helped me with those and it’s amazing how many things I do, haha. THANK YOU because I think you hit on something that we haven’t tried yet with the emailing thingy…MERCI.

LOL – that’s a puzzled look for sure! My mama is technically challenged for sure – and papa broke his portable phone and mama is trying to foist hers on him so she can get an iPhone, teehee…..we’ll see how that works. Crashed early last night – travel, then unpacking and getting ready for Auntie Maria!!! YEA!! She’s coming in tomorrow night and maybe she will move to Nice. Fingers and paws crossed for a good apartment search!!!!

You’ll figure it out, Loulou. You are too determined to not get it. We don’t have a Mac or a phone, so we’re lost in cyberspace just hearing about it. But we’re on your side.

The mom can’t help you with that. She always downloads her photos from the phone to the computer in order to upload them into our blog.
Yes, but how does she get the ones from the computer into the blog if they are IPics? I can get my Adobe pics into my blog easily, but not my Phone pics, which don’t download easily into Adobe.

Are your photos shared between your phone and your Mac? Mine are shared on the cloud so when I take a photo on my phone it appears a little while later on my MacBook in Photos. Are you saying that if the photos were on your Mac Book they would easily be imported to the blog?
Well, that’s what I need to know. I know how to get them in photos, but they are difficult to import into WORDPRESS!!! My Adobe photos are manageable and those are the ones I use most of the time. But I take so many photos with my IPhone and wish to use THEM. The Adobe’s are taken with a Sony RX100. LOVE it.
