Okay, okay, I play sometimes…
But everyone knows that a bright yellow ‘Nana is irresistible to kitties and mama can’t figure it out. We have the biggest bed of kitty nip in our neighborhood (since no one seems to have ANY or even know what it IS) and mama uses it to stuff store-bought and homemade toys for me, but I only come back to my nip ‘Nana when I’m feeling the play urge. Those other toys go unmolested, haha.
Go figure.
Frankly, there is a sweet little merle (blackbird) out in our garden right now and he might be even more fun to play with, if you get my drift. And I don’t mean tear-your-throat-out play. I mean really PLAY with him. He visits every year about this time and drinks out of my personal kitty-bath.
Uh, oh! Mama puts something special for my teeth in that water.
He’s probably going to have the healthiest beak in the merle community, haha.
What’s this thing, for example? Am I supposed to play with it? It never moves! Plus my ‘Nana is calling to me…💕

We kitties used to play with one of those things but we stopped playing with it for some reason and Jan gave it away.

My cat loves to play with the lip balm that I sometimes have on my desk. I always tell him not to play and I always take it away from him since I don’t want to lose it. Though sometimes I forget to put I away. I Regret not putting it away especially in the night.
Maybe her little muzzle needed lubrication, haha. But maybe buy two next time?

Oh LouLou I LOVE my “nanner” too! It is one of my faves! Also, Mom keeps saying she is going to buy me that orange toy but she hasn’t yet. Love, Cody
That orange toy has little balls in each layer that roll around. But I could care less. Wish I were more active with these “cat”toys.
My kitties play like mad, then something lays around for months, then a different kitty discovers it and goes nuts.
Well, you have multiple kitties and if I had a sis or bro I know I would play, too. I think it’s being a lone kitty that is the reason for this blah manner. But I do NOT want other kitties around, at least not the ones who come around here. But I am so gentle. I never get mad.
