Papa keeps me warm and cuddled in this IGLOO!
Well, it’s getting colder here and with the heat off, I just stay in the bedroom where there IS some heat and don’t go out except to…well, you know.
Let’s cross paws that the guy who ‘fixed’ our hot water heater comes back with some new info instead of having to ask for our instruction manual to see what to fix! I knew we were in hot water when he did that.
But, alas, we weren’t.
Mama has a big pot on the stove and dips hot water out in a pitcher to take into the bathroom for a quick sponge off, and today they took a visiting neighbor out to our little trattoria down below because it was too cold to eat here. Stove works, though, and mama has that on to help us not turn into ice cubes.
Things could be worse! This kitty look COLD!
If the heat comes on tomorrow and my paws are not frozen as they are today, I’ll tell you about the principe that mama thought she met who turned out…well…I’ll tell you tomorrow.
Meanwhile, is this where they keep the blankets?

Well, at least I have on a fur coat, haha. And we are not on vaction here, we have large a family and chores galore when we come, not to mention mama being on the phone with New Delhi repair anthros for HOURS. Hope today is the last and they FIX her Adobe.
OH NO!! Mama thought it was just the hot WATER heater – not the entire heating system! And stuff like that always happens when it’s really cold – or really hot. Never goes out when it’s like – oh we don’t really need heat or air. Well, we have fur coats and that helps. Is it possible to buy a little space heater that would keep at least one room cozy? Hope that gets fixed toute de suite! Meanwhile – SNUGGLE!!!!
Well, snuggle is a good solution, but with papa and mama’s arms around me for THEIR heat, I can’t cook dinner properly.
Rained all day yesterday but a nice day today. Whew! We didn’t freeze. But we have been cold off and on for a while so we feel for you, Loulou.
Hey, let Marcus sleep on the bed, haha. Let everyone come over here and sleep on OUR bed!

We all have on three sweaters. Well, not me, but I have my exclusive fur.
Oh dear LouLou – I hope you get things fix-er-I mean REPAIRED soon. It is NO fun to have no heat OR hot water. We have been snowed in over the years with the electric off, so even though the furnace is gas it won’t run without electricity. And the water can’t be pumped either (we con’t have city water and sewers out here)

Well, he is taking on TWO of us, haha. And mama looks like the Michelin Man in her three sweaters and coats and scarves. But we’re just about to call the repair people.
