Hey, is this a kitty who looks as if she CARES about THEM returning?

One of mama’s favorite songs.  La, la, la, “that leads to your door”…la, la, la….

Well, just a few days left of utter indulgence and freedom from having to pretend I am glad to have THEIR company again..heh, heh.

I don’t have to tell you how glad THEY must be, but here in my private world of total I, me, and my, I’m not sure I want intrusion.

Just call me Cleocatra, Queen of Sheeba, Cat-herine, the Great, any of those pampered felines will do, they are I.  Or is it I are they?  Whatever.

Meanwhile, I guess I’ll have to be prepared for the reentry somehow.  Maybe a few dead mice under the bed—wait a minute, I don’t know if there are any around here.  Mice, that is, not beds.  Okay, maybe a lizard can stand in.

Oh, sure, as if I am really anticipating this event, right?

So LouLou, Even tho I wasn’t able to meet you in Roma as thought, I had a lovely time with your parents. We ate and drank and were merry –and finished it all off with a delicious gelato!

But the real reason I am writing is that I have become a furry godmother to a very sweet cat named Sugar. She got that name because her fur looked the same color as the unrefined mountain of sugar at the Spreckles plant in Brawley CA where she was born.

I’m supposed to be watching her while my daughter Ann’s family escape the Indian Wells desert heat…but I know they think she would be a nice companion for me. I would send you a picture for your gallery but i dont know how to do it….maybe you can advise me since you are becoming an expect on Adobe etc! She is not a tux but looks more like a long haired Siamese…she “talks” like one too!

I know it will be a wonderful reunion when your parents come back next week. xoxo Peggy

hehheh – OK Cleocatra, play it for all its worth! I think a nice welcoming present would to ask the nice pie if he would drop another monster thing on the kitchen counter! I know. It’ll be a difficult act to be “cool” – but they have REALLLLY missed you. Well, 5 minutes worth Mama had a friend years ago whose cat would pee in her shoe when she went off on trips without her. Not that I want to give you any ideas…….

You big fibber. We know you are anxiously waiting their return so you can snub them as a true cat must! and then you will forgive them because they’re your mama and papa.

Fur ball, barf, food after eating too fast. Humans have to clean up the mess. Especially effective on carpeting!
