Rhapsody In Blue

Well, you see I have this blue thingy, a comforter of some sort, whatever that is, but definitely COMFORT for me (and also for mama later in the evening when I snuggle down into it with her), and I seem to have found a sort of security blanket, of sorts, that gives me solace in this crazy and confused world where children shoot other children and no one seems to be intelligent enough to teach them or perceive that they just may have a serious problem with BEING or COPING, especially in the teens, or may just be a little off in the head,  and so I just get up on my blue softy and try to forget about the troubles of the world for a few precious minutes.

And then I feel better when I wake up.  But for how long…?

Oh, Loulou mon cher, you have a big heart. I am glad you have that blue blanket to provide you comfort from all the worries of the world. I use a blankie for that too. The humans’ world needs a lot of fixing. XOXO

Ooooooh, you look SOOOOO comfy in that comforter!!! Beautiful. Mama feeling so badly for the families the politicians are “praying for’ – like they think prayer is going to do any good to stop the gun violence in a gun-crazy culture where mentally ill adolescents (and others) have and have ccess to assault weapons!? Well, I’m telling mama to get off her soapbox and get back under the covers with me. And like that other song – “what the world needs now, is love, sweet love……..
