Well, so many of your lovely and funny photos on various blogs really make me smile, but I just have to put this link in to the funniest animal photography winners for this year, because mama and papa and I fell off our chairs laughing at the little owl and the singing frogs!!! Boy, I wish these photos came with sound! Well, maybe not the bears, haha.
How does anyone get such incredible shots? Maybe the owl anthrophoto guy/gal spent the night in a tree? Or maybe the bear photographer froze to death all night waiting for action!
Such fun, all of them and a laugh for the day! We like that.

LOL – mama loved them all, and totally cracked up over the monkeys on the mo-ped!! We all need good laughs these days! Yesterday was a laugh-filled afternoon here – people giggled and pointed (and gave me tons of attention) while strolling in my poussette wearing my faux-fur collar coat! And people (maybe a hundred) in swimsuits, jumped into the bay to swim in the annual “bain de noel”, creating laughs and applause! That’s what the world needs – more laughs and smiles!!

We had a really successful board meeting for the Merwin Conservancy – Mary said she thought it was the most productive held to date! Which makes us feel really good for our small part .. sorry that you could not make it for the meeting – I know that you, LouLou, would have really snuggled up to the board members to elicit even more funds ..

Well, mama and papa help each year, and I am so glad you are on the Conservancy board. We miss William terribly and will call him soon. But no more Hawaii trips for us, alas. They were just too tiring and so long, long from Europe. Who knows, though….things change. Even WE!
