Dreaming of a home for Sabrina…
Well, mama’s really close friend sent her a lovely present for next month’s event (no, she’s not telling—birthdays are like any other day around here, wonderful, so no need to celebrate), which is that mama was given the care and feeding of Sabrina for one month, but the organization will keep Sabrina and any others until they find a family.
and then mama received a postcard in the mail, saying the Sabrina had found a forever home!!!
Isn’t this a great organization? Mama didn’t know about it and just wishes to pass it on to whomever.
Makes for an awfully nice gift for someone’s special day. And isn’t Sabrina lovely?
I think this may be a Santa Barbara organization. It is called ASAP and does some really wonderful things with their Sponsor-A-Cat Program.
So thank you, mama’s friend, for a great gift!
Don’t you just love organizations like this one? And there are so many, many good ones. Lucky we.

What a lovely gift – and how nice to paw it forward. I sponsor a cat at a local shelter too – they are often cats not likely to be adopted for behavioral reasons or maybe physical problems, and this insures they can be kept safe forever.
Oh, I’m so sad when I hear of kitties who have physical problems. So many reasons to keep them safe and cared for.

Well, she was gone all day and lived in a house with no outside and the kitty was depressed and really sort of mean and the woman was beginning to get allergy problems and so the kitty went to a farm where lots of kitties live. And the kitty LOVES it and became very sociable, which she was NOT before.
Oh, that’s a shame. We’re glad the woman was able to resolve the situation so the kitty is happy now. And we assume she is too since the cat is no longer tickling her allergies.
Frumi was a mean little kitty. You wouldn’t want to put your hand too close to pet her. BUT…she changed completely with socializing! She had been alone too long and also was not agreeable to having grandkids around trying to play with her. Kitties sometimes really do NOT want little anthros insisting that they play. But Frumi is so happy now and as I mentioned, has a boyfriend….
I love stories like this – a good cat deserves a good home – that’s what I always say .. Grandma is so looking forward to when she an have lovely old sausage pussy cat to spoil on her bed – oh, wait, maybe I should rephrase that – Grandma wants to spoil her own pussy cat on Grandma’s bed – even then something seems a little askew??!!
Why don’t you get a little kitty, grandma Ros? You would love it so much and there it has a lovely garden to roam in. Just keep it indoors for at least two months or so and then supervise the outdoor roamings and it will be trained to come in at night. I’ll bet Barrie would be good with that.
