These are mama’s tea eggs, boiled in strong tea and then cracked all over and left to soak up the color of the tea. When peeled they look like marbe eggs and mama stuffs them with the yolk, walnut-flavored mustard, mayo, a pinch of curry powder, salt and pepper. Fun for bunny day.
