Ready for massage. NO, MAMA, not the BACK ONES!

Well, I just looked at my files and I am coming up on my 900th blog, which sort of takes me by surprise since all I do is pat out a few ideas (like Chocolate Kibble—mama wouldn’t let me do that one, alas, since we kitties are NOT supposed to eat that wonder of wonders in the food world and so she edited my recipe and substituted carob, which is not the same thing AT ALL) and then all of a sudden I’m on the road to 1000 and wonder what on earth I found to talk about, haha!  I do sometimes have a little ache in my front paws, however, but mama massages them and they’re fine the next time.

I think I’ll have a big party at 100, with all of you invited to partake of my tuna casserole and fake brownies, maybe with a little bubbly on the side to sniff (since that’s all I do anyway when the anthros have a party) so you have a few months at least to figure out what to wear and what friends to bring, etc.

Maybe I’ll have a masked ball, haha.

Meanwhile, it is COLD here. I was out helping mama prune the roses and cut a gazillion kiwis to put in with apples and bananas to help ripen them so she can give some to the neighbors and my friend, Mya’s papa, who has a thing for kiwis, and I went inside long before she did to be next to a crackling fire and put my paws up.

How are you doing with winter, wherever you are? Gardens are sort of in a state of meditation right now but I’m going out on a limb, haha, and say that they really just look pretty bare and unwelcoming on these cold days, even if there are lots of nasturtiums and parsley. But mama was out there putting in more fava beans so that when spring finally makes an appearance, we’ll have some pecorino and raw beans on our plates. Well, only pecorino for me.

The only beans I like are mama’s chocolate-covered coffee beans. Maybe she’ll drop one tonight after dinner and not notice. That tiny bit of goodness can’t possibly hurt my figure…
