I think I have the Sunday blues. I find myself staring off into space and wishing things would liven up.  It happens to everyone, right?

But The Cat on My head Sunday Selfies always cheers me up. Taking a tip from those kitties, I try to get on mama’s head every morning and chew her hair but I find myself responding too well to “Lie down, Loulou” and so I do.  No, I am not a dog.  Just a listener.

When I stop chewing on mama’s hair, she gives me my kibble.  See, it all works out.  Give and take.  She gives and I take.

Then THEY go out and do their Sunday thing, which, today, was seeing a photography show called War is Over from World War II archives that have never been shown and also a show called Ruins at the exquisite Palazzo Altemps.  Wow, would I get lost in THAT place!

I looked up the war pictures on Google and saw clearly that we do not want a war again.  And I mean never.  Why is it that anthros want possession of another’s country or another’s wealth when half the time they don’t even know what to do with what they already have?

Palazzo Altemps

When you see the amazing skill that went into the statuary and the artifacts at the Palazzo Altemps from early civilizations–Roman, Greek, Etruscan, Syrian and so many more–it is unimaginable that anthros of the same human race would want to bomb the bejeezus out of places that have been graced by such incredible art and beauty.

I don’t think I am ever going to understand why anthros do these things.

But I’m getting over my blues.  Mama and papa go out for pizza on Sundays and they have promised to bring me a slice of pizza napoletana–the one with anchovies on it! YAY. After a whole day of museum-ing, I’m HUNGRY.
