Thanks to It’s Noodle.com, mama and I received this video about Cecil, the lion, and the DENTIST who paid 35,000 to kill one of the most beloved creatures in a Zimbabwe national park–a protected animal and god knows how this idiot got hold of a permit to kill such a fantastic animal for his trophy wall!!! I simply do not have words for this today as I am in kitty tears and sick at heart over the whole event.
I just had to do an extra blog today for Cecil.
May he stalk and shred trophy hunters in his unplanned paradise.

He lives in the Twin Cities here. People have been leaving stuffed animals by his office door and home front door and done some quiet well-mannered picketing at both places (Cute signs and costumes). His dentistry website is down. I don’t think he will have a practice here for very much longer. Or if he does keep on he will not have as many patients and maybe he will be forced to cut out his safaris due to the cut in his income.

I can’t believe he is right there in your territory. Boy, am I glad I’m not there!!!! There will be much worse behaviour than that of the nice people you describe. I can’t believe someone is not yet after him with a crossbow!!! A horrendous act on his part.
