Wild Cape doggy

Oh, boy, was I laughing my muzzle off when mama told me the story of one of the owners of the magnificent Maui B ‘n B who loves to hike and dirt bike and everything else you can think of (he’s over 80 but you’d never know it!), and one day he was biking on the adjacent road that leads down to a path to the ocean and was ATTACKED by a pack of feral dogs!

Well, you know what they’re like, right?  He only had his bike and I asked, horrified, What on earth did you do?  And he responded, Well, I stopped in my tracks and looked them RIGHT IN THE EYE(S) and they stopped, too, and growled and looked at me with menacing grimaces and I waved my arms and made loud noises and they backed off.  They did, I asked, really?  How brave you are to face a pack of wild dogs and no help in sight!  What kind of dogs were they, and he said, twinkling, Chihuahuas.

Head of gang

You know, I’ve looked up wild Chihuahua feral dogs on Maui and can’t find a thing, but it was a helluva story and mama laughs every time she envisions that scene.  I think they moved to Arizona…the doggies, that is, not mama.

Boy, am I glad I wasn’t there.  I could have had a pack of new friends.  They are just my size!

Uh, oh. Are they out there?  I’ve changed my mind. I’m zipping myself into this computer case if they come after me!
