Hurrah for Cassie Taylor, a young woman who was at the Boston Marathon but was prevented from finishing because of the bombing. Along with many others, she will be completing the race for her cause, Family Reach, and I listened to her being interviewed a couple of days ago. Boy, I would be her kitty in a New York minute. Make that a Boston minute. That is one helluva town. My mama is from that big state down south in the USA and papa has a shot glass that says “Don’t Mess With Texas”, but I’ll tell you, I wouldn’t mess with Boston either, in any way, form or manner! And Cassie could be the spokesperson for ANYTHING. I’m her fan from now on.
That city is on the way back up already and these amazing people who are going to run the rest of the marathon have my purrs and rubs.
Besides, people like Cassie and her friends who land on their feet will feel right at home with us kitties. We’re good at that, too.
