“Get thee to a custard dish. NOW! I need to boogie!”

Oh, boy is mama happy. I, personally, do not see the pull of an egg, raw or cooked, which is strange for a kitty, but mama loves eggs in any form and was tickled to see that one of the world’s oldest living human beings (115) ate 3 eggs a day, RAW, during her life and now only eats 2 as she ages…haha. She also said that having no husband helped her longevity, and mama disagrees with her on THAT one one hundred per cent!

Then, just after having read about this lovely lady, mama saw that all the info on eating eggs and foods with high cholesteral has been revised to say that only 20% of a person’s cholesteral formation comes from diet.

MORE EGGS!!! YAY!!! But, of course, there is the big factor of genetics in there and if you have high LDLs, low density lipoproteins, you should be cautious in your consumption of eggs, fatty meats, and so on.

Low LDLs, high HDLs and Bob’s your uncle (whoever Bob is)…

Still, mama is plunging into her vast recipe stash for clafouti and soufflés  and custards just to celebrate a little with this newfound news.

In this family, diamonds are on hold while papa gives a delighted mama a lovely little handheld blowtorch to caramelize her crème brûlée perfectly. Now that’s love.

I, for one, can get into a custard very easily, or at leasts the dregs of one when THEY leave some, but if mama drops an egg on the floor when she’s trying to put away the groceries (are those egg cartons MADE to make one drop at least one egg while transferring from carton to fridge?), I could care less…she’ll just have to lick it up herself.  I play ball, not omelette.

And I dream of eggs—fish eggs, haha.

The photo of our lemons that I forgot in another blog.

No slim pickins’ here!  And the tree is still throwing lemons at us. Hey, a lemon omelette!!! Wow.
