HEY, what’s that guy doing?  I think he’s trying to get a kiss from the other guy walking by.  This is our local mime, doing very funny things behind peoples’ backs in the piazza.  Kids adore him and try to make him laugh and chase them and he makes them swords out of balloons (with which they then attack him!). Great fun.  I’ll bet he could imitate me really well. All he has to do is lie down and snore.

And mama takes pics of all sorts of corners of Rome that seem to have a story behind them.  Here is one, with multi-coloured feathers and a wild-growing flower (that the donkeys in France adore but it doesn’t travel well…).  Still, why those feathers?  Must have been an extraordinary bird, haha.

And changing the subject, this is the little sweet pet turtle that the little grand-anthros have adopted and lives in the garden, pampered and loved.  Here he has been given rachicchio leaves and is in seventh heaven.   Because he loves to wander, they have had to build a little fence around his garden, hence his name: BOLT.  Wonder what the real Bolt would think of this.  Hey, the turtle and the hare… (OOPS. Forgot to put Bolt in the blog. Here he is.)

UH, OH, I’m outta here! Mama’s at it again!  She must miss me really a lot to take a pic of THIS! (Why are they all so cute…?)
